Hi welcome to the light side!
You might have the fills set to be viewed in bitmap. Check your display settings. You need vectorial hatching

Do it in 3D window.

If you are using the cylinder from the Basic shapes folder, it has a rotation parameter. Input the roof angle.

Where? Plan, elevation, section?

You can add it when defining the structural grid, or simply copy one of the placed grid objects where needed and change its marker to whatever you need.

Can you post a screenshot so we all know EXACTLY what are we talking about?

Select them in the plan, copy, paste to S/E. You will have to rotate and/or mirror it to the position. Hint: use the origin as the reference point

They are grouped; suspend grouping, and you can edit individual objects.

Well, you can't. As you can't learn anything else in life without one.

The problem is - if there is no one to teach you, you will not be aware of how little you know. The more you learn, the more you will be aware of what you don't know.

I am honoured; however, try to look arond you, and find someone who is physically nearer. It will help you, no end.
