There are so many places to enter setting for fills and displays now (in AC10) so I do not know where the fault lies. I have checked all I know of and still can't get a solid fill.
How irritating to get stuck on something as seemingly simple as this!
Anyone know what I have done wrong?

Go to Documents/Set model View/Model View Options.
I think you will find there is where you will change settings that will enable what you want.

Thanks Rod!
Figured it out with a combination of that and display options in wall settings.
cheers, Kristen
