My pleasure. Thanks for the compliment. It wasn't entirely altruistic of me. I have the problem on a project and faced the choice of telling someone they couldn't use the profile wall, or just fixing the window. Since he was previously a Revit beta tester, I didn't want to add any fuel to that fire.

So is Peter the only person to have noticed this? I thought a fix to this part would be of more general interest.

NOTE: I am reposting here in case those who may be interested missed it so far.

I submitted a bug report on it and copied your code.... I just have not been back to actually work it in yet.

I'm glad you figured it out. I was not looking forward to it.

Thanks Tom.

You know, it's funny that it didn't occur to me to report it as a bug. I guess I think of library parts as distinct from the ArchiCAD code in this respect, but of course a bug is a bug is a bug.

You don't happen to have a fix for the Group Error in Line 879 that comes up when a wall is mirrored, do you?

Is that in the same macro? I'll see if I can take a look at it.

Yep. That's also in "wa_trim_us 10"

Line 879 in the 3D script. It's a problem with a SUBGROUP command.

Matthew,
I was just pointed this direction and I also want to thank you for working on this macro. I think it is the #1 bug in the AC10 US library.

Since SE9 I have been trying to get GS to fix it but I just get excuses that the windows are so complex that these kinds of errors cannot be avoided.

Thanks again. I will test it ASAP. 🙂

PS. Has anyone tried the international library? Unfortunately it uses the same names for the objects, so we can't load it at the same time or with a project that already has AC10 US parts. 😞

Hello Ransom,
Geoff Briggs has a copy of the INT library and says it is superior to the
US version.
see this link http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=64539&highlight=int#64539

It fixed my problems and i would like to share an updated Object Library.lcf from our public ftp folder.

Best Regards,
