in which version of Archicad
the .pln fila is made.
I have a problem opening a .pln file
i known to be ok.
Trying to open it in Archicad v.8.1
i cannton find the libraries needed
and finally receive a message of
that kind "....file corrupt or memory full. endof file"
The same is happening in version 6.5
with a slight difference - i find all the needed libraries
and receive the same message at the end of the loading process.
What should i do

I don`t see such an option on pc.
...
maybe a better question is:
can i open in archicad8.1
a file made in any previous version
without problems with the libraries?
10x

On the Mac select the .PLN file and click "Command I" -Get Info, you will get all of the information about the file, including the version and date modified. I am sure the same must be possible on the PC.
Is that your question?

The best way is to have the older projects 'Archived' with the used libraries and then open them in 8.1 and convert the libraries, there has been lots written on this subject on this forum, a simple search will get you many other suggestions.
You can try the one below:
You should also go on the Graphisoft's site and download their new, 'safe' versions of older libraries for 6.5 and 7.0 to be used with 8.0 and replace the old libraries with new ones.
