How do you create simple base boards and trim and molding for floors and wall/cieling intersections? I thought that would be a simple tool like the wall tool or soomething. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

In order to serve you better, forum members need to know your Archicad version and a little bit about your computer system.
Please add this information to your signature.

Depending on your Archicad version, the tools are:

"Wall Accessories"

Download from Graphisoft web site by using the "Goodies" link in "Help"

AND/OR

"Complex Profile" - for custom wall accessories extruded as if they were wall parts.

Both are well-covered in the reference material, but require some lateral thinking to apply well. See what you think.

Then there's also the very old little, tiny walls (and/or beams, columns, etc.) method (with or without profiles) that is a bit more tedious but also more versatile and so may still be required in some cases.

...and there are still some cases where only a library part will do (ornate modillions, metopes, triglyphs, dentils and such).
