slant holes in mesh

hello,

i've just started to use archicad recently, so my question may sound stupid, but i really can't get any solution to this problem: how do i create those zygomorphic holes in the building draft shown in the pdf below?
i've tried to create library object from mesh, manipulating ridges, mesh points, seo (subtraction only lasts as long as the operator element is still there..), rotating vertically etc. just didn't work.
is it possible that there's no simple way to accomplish that? i'm not familiar with the gdl yet.
thanks for any help

Subtraction only works if the operator is retained in the project. In this instance the operator needs to go on a layer that is hidden.

(this is going around the problem ,instead of solving it - like in so many cases in archicad - seems to me..)
anyway, the operator still needs to be there - well, hidden. is there some kind of permanent subtraction?

..and if there were: i still can't build meshes shaped like those holes.

yes rather boring but you can make the shapes using other meshes and subtracting meshes from the meshes

first of all: thanks a lot for wasting time on my problem
maybe i wasn't clear. could be my bare english..
how can i create a mesh, which has a section like this?

when the top surface of the mesh is slant, the bottom can be only horizontal (and vica versa).

I'm not sure its exactly what you want, but how about using a double slanted wall, with the top trimmed using a single roof?

or if you need the section to vary along its length ...

a rectangular block of mesh SEOed with 3 roofs; 2 extruded up and 1 extruded down. (yes, I know the roofs look horrible. I did it quickly!!)

As you said, not the most straight-forward solution, but it works (ish)

Hope this (sort of) helps!

Pete.
