The Operator on the SEOs have to be placed on a specific layer (z-SEOs for example) and that layer has to be turned off.

Find and select picks the settings from the object that you have selected using the icon with the square and arrow.
Not all the fields can be written to.
The procedure basically is:
1. select object that has the settings you want to use for F&S
2. Hit the button for the square
3. Keep adding to the fields by using the Add button
4. then hit the Plus sign to select them

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

It will depend on the priority strength of the original wall and the tile wall. If the original wall is stronger it will over-rule the tile wall before you get a chance to do the SEO.
When I have done this I just use a tile wall overlay, rather than trying to bury it in the original wall. After all, this is how it will be built.
