Is it possible to have a set of layouts premade in a *.tpl file?

Okay, this is wierd. When I open the template from a fresh archiCAD session, the layouts show up, but when I try to start a new file from an existing session, the layouts and the masters are all dropped?
Exactly how are you doing it? Write down all the steps of saving the template and using it with a new file.

I have the same issue. When you start a "new instance" of archiCAD, it starts a new project file based on the default graphisoft template, regardless of what template you choose. It's annoying, but not a big deal. In the 2nd instance I can then create a new project file using whatever template I want.

This reminds me of a "feature" AC9 had. When I opened a Project it always said one Zone Stamp is missing. I reloaded the libraries and all was fine. So for the first time it did not get it right, for the second it did. This sounds something similar. I think GS should look into this. I let them know.
