the pet pallette didn't appear during subtraction of select

as you can see while i want to do custom subtraction the pet pallette should appear which contain line or curve why i can not see it??

It will not appear under this circumstance. One solution, if your shape has curves, is to draw the shape you need to subtract with the Polyline Tool, select the slab, bring up the Pet Palette and select the Subtract from Polygon option, then Magic Wand the Polyline shape.

Thanks David i am using this way but i hope it was a bug before sometimes this method did not work with me and that is the problem
