License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. Hi,

I try to trim wall by a shell. My problem is, even if i trim the wall so that it looks alright in 3d, in 2d I still have the contours of whole object. Is there a way of only showing the trimmed contours?

Thank you.

Unfortunately SEOs and trims operations are not represented in 2D. Just 3D.

and is there any way, how to make it look correctly in 2d as well? I would need to apply it on more complex model.

The only way that I can think of, is to convert the wall to morph and set it 2d view to "Projected with overhead".
With this, you could even delete the dome object (operator)... But of course loose a lot o information from the original wall.
Hope that helps.

Edit: Meanwhile, you can vote for it here.

I would first shorten the Wall so it is only as long as its portion that remains after the frim.
Then I would probably cover the trimmed overhead portion (the portion above the Floor Plan Cut Plane) with Fills to achieve the desired floor plan representation.
