turning off other stories

I'm working on a drawing that's built by someone. It has several stories. I want to turn off those stories in 3D view except for the 3rd story so I can see it in 3D.
When I click on the 3D tab in the project map, all the stories are turned on... does this mean I need to manually turn off all other stories except for the 3rd story, and save the view?
.. if that's the case, how do I change the view to elevation view so I can select elements and turn them off?

Check under menu: View -> Elements in 3D View -> Filter and Cut Elements in 3D

There you can define and show whichever stories you want

Or go to the 3rd storey in plan (or any other storey you want), select all (CTRL+A), right click and show selection in 3D.

This saves messing around with the filter settings.
