wall Fills distort under roofs....

everything looks great on screen then when I print the layout, it makes the wall fill from the eves and above a lot lighter..... can anyone help me sort this problem please!

post a screen snap shot....will be much easier to understand if we can see a picture....remember the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words"...
