Hi

I am now trying to do my first template to arkitekts.
Is it possible to predefine and ID to en certain type of wall?
So when the arkitekt see the list of walls he can use the ID is predefined when he draw the wall?

You can create a favourite for your wall type and it will remember the ID set when you create the favourite.
So long as in the favourite preferences you have not tick the option to ignore the ID then every time you use that favourite to place the wall it will have that ID.
But if your Architect just uses the wall tool and chooses the wall type (i.e. not using the favourite) then the ID may not be the correct one.

Hi

Thank you!
Will the favorit list be saved in the template or du the arkitekt have to import our favorit list?

Yes the favourites will be saved with the file (template).
Updating or modifying the favourites in the template will not modify them in existing files though.
They will only be available on future jobs started from that template.

However you can also 'Save' and 'Load' favourites at any time in any file by clicking on that little triangle icon.

So you can always save your favourites from the template and them load them into any other file.

I am not sure it sets the favourite preferences though.
I think that is set individually in each job.
