wall intersections

How do I get the intersection of a 2"x4" wall and a 2"x6" wall to show up properly in plan view? These are walls are composite structures that I have created. I would think that there is some minor setting that I need to change to get these walls to intersect properly but I haven't yet figured out which setting to adjust.

The attached image shows the situation that I am trying to fix better than my question. The top three intersections are intersections of 2"x4" walls and 2"x6" walls. These intersections do not show up properly in plan view.

The bottom three intersections appear properly in plan view.

How can I get the 2"x4"/2"x6" intersections to show up like the 2"x4"/2"x4" intersections?

I have been using ArchiCAD for about 3 years and I like using composite walls. The only problem is that the structural only wants the core. What I have been doing is having two walls, one on top of the other. One wall on one layer and the second wall on another layer with different intersection group number. I would like it if there was a update for the program to make it possible to show only core material of a composite wall. I would save time in having to make two wall in the same location.
