Hello. I am trying to intersect a normal wall with a custom-shaped one and I can't. What is the problem? Thank you.

igreere:

Try turning on the On-Screen Display Option: Walls & Beams Reference Lines and see if the Reference Lines for the two walls intersect.

I did and they intersect.

Looks to me like there is something odd going on with wall heights and roof cuts. It might make more sense if you could show the same junction using the heavy marquee and view from the top left of your 2D plan.

Could there be another wall in a hidden layer that is hijacking the trim?
A wall can only trim to one other wall (at each end) and will trim to walls even in layers that are turned off.

Thank you for the replies.
I am afraid I do not have any hidden wall beneath these walls that are not intersecting properly.

So if you select just those 2 walls and drag a copy to the side- what happens?

I dragged a copy of the two walls to the side. This is how they look:

It looks to me like the wall(s) with the mitre is one big polygon wall.
These do not mitre automatically at corners.
You need to adjust the nodes manually.

Or delete it and replace it with standard or composite walls.
