windows in legend not on floor plan

Some windows have appeared in the window legend but are not on the floor plans—they seem to be duplicate windows. How does one find, and eliminate them?

By "legend" I assume you mean "schedule".

If so, select the window you think is a duplicate and press the 'select on floor plan/3D' button.

Or you could use the 'Check for duplicates' add-on - it is part of the 'Goodies' add-ons if you do not already have it loaded.
