Archicad 29 - Issue with Zone Parameters in Element Schedules

Hell GS Team

I want to report an issue in Archicad 29 with Zone Parameters not reporting data in Element Schedules.

  • The Apartment ID & Name are not reporting in Element Schedules, despite it being active and with data in the Zone elements.
  • Apartment ID & Name are also not showing up in the parameter list under Add Fields button in the Schedule Scheme Settings.
  • These parameters / fields only show in Search in the parameter list of the Schedule Scheme Settings, but can still be added to the schedule.

See this video - https://youtu.be/cVtM5SBKMnI

Reporting Apartment ID & Name in Element Schedules worked fine in Archicad 27 (we skipped Archicad 28).

I get this issue on Archicad 29, v29.1.0 Update (Build 4006) on Windows 11 25H2.

Am I missing something? Is this a known bug?

Operating system used: Windows 25H2

It is not a bug.

The Apartment ID and Apartment Name you are talking about at the beginning are parameters of the Zone Stamp library part.

If you wanted to add them as Schedule Fields, you would need to do it according to this Help page:

https://help.graphisoft.com/AC/29/INT/index.htm#t=_AC29_Help%2F055_InteractiveSchedule%2F055_Interac...

I think the two parameters you need for this are the apartmentName and stApartmentId parameters of the Zone Stamp 02 Library Part.

At 2:02 in the video, when you open the Scheme Settings Dialog, and start searching the "Apartment" Schedule fields, you find them and from the displayed info, you can see that they are Properties with the "String" Data Type ("Abc" icon), belonging to the ZONES Property Group, as defined in the Property Manager Dialog. So, they are not built-in Zone listing parameters, which is why you could not find them under Zones. You can find them and set their value in the Classification and Properties panel of the Zone Settings Dialog.

Why are there Apartment ID and Apartment Name library part parameters and Apartment ID and Apartment Name Properties as well? Good question. Maybe the developers wanted to make these more easily accessible (since searching for and adding these Library Part parameters to Schedules is not so easy or straightforward) and so they created default Properties in the Property Manager. But this is just a guess of mine.
