Calculating Zone Volume

I have attempted to use the zone tool to calculate the volume of a room. I have the calculated area of 19.30m2 and the ceiling height of +2.74m. The zone tool lists the volume as 49.80m3. This is not correct.
I have updated the zone, and it does not fix the volume.

sorry, I have deleted to crop (which was reducing the volume) however the volume is still calculated less - 52.79m3 (not 52.88m3)

You could try a simple Zone to test whether it is really incorrectly calculated.
For example, a Zone that is 2x5 and its height is 1. So it Volume should be 10.
Does it give you incorrect results then?
It you recreate the Zone from scratch, does it still give you the incorrect results?
Also, there are Zone-related settings in Project Preferences. Any chance those are affecting the result?

Thanks Laszlo,

I created a zone 5x2x1 and it generated a volume of 10m3, so that's ok.

I also removed all the adjustments in project preferences - zones, and then updated the zone - it calculated a smaller area and the volume is correctly calculated.
