Expression for property mapping information out of a zone

I am trying to use an expression to do property mapping out of a zone?
I can do this with other objects, but i can not get anything out of a zone.
Is this possible?

Yes you can!
Just remember to assign Spaces in the Availability for Classifications the Properties Manager dialog box.
You can start from an existing property in the Zone group (in the left), copying it and changing its data type to a value (Area for example). Then you can enter the expression you want.

Thank-you for the response.
I am trying to display the result in a label using auto-text.
Can the result be displayed using auto-text in a label or only in the Zone Stamp?

What is the exact information you would like to display about the Zone in a Label?

I would like to display the Zone name in a label so that i can have multiple room name labels to use on different plan views that are keyed back to the Zone name. The Zone name displayed in the zone stamp is always in the wrong place for the different plan views, such as dimension plans, RCP, and furniture plans. If I can auto text the zone name in a label then when the room name changes in the zone all the room name labels will be update.

Unfortunately, in general Labels cannot be used to display information about Zones, since this is done by the Zone Stamp.
It is easy to see the limitations of this solution (that the Zone Stamp is not independent of the Zone).
You can create a wish for this. I think the best long-term solution would be to make all annotation-type sub-elements (Door/Window Markers, Zone Stamps, etc.) independent from their parent element. Then we could use Labels to do all those annotations.

Thanks for the response.
Yes i was aware that objects know what zone they are in and that i can pull the zone name out of an object in a zone via an autotext label. This is what i am currently doing. I was expecting in V22 with the new property expressions that i would be able to get the information directly from the source object instead of an intermediary object. Apparently this is still not possible.
Thank you for taking the time to respond!!!
