How to calculate material-specific volumes in my project

In my project, I have several building elements like walls, roofs, floors, etc. I can get the total volume of each element (e.g., wall1, wall2, wall3), but I need to know how much of each material is used in total.

Is there a way to get a list showing the volume of each individual material — for example, how much glass, aluminum, insulation, etc. is used throughout the entire project?

Try 'component' schedules rather then 'element' schedules.

And then you have 'surface' schedules for exposed surfaces.
