Zone Areas and Volumes - Graphisoft Community

I want to find the area by subtracting the fill area from the zone area.
What should I do?

This is the answer I already received.
I want to delete it, but I don't have permission.
can't be automatic
It means that Gross's calculation method is possible only manually.
I wish it was possible even at the wall boundary.

In other words, if you set the line to Zone Boundary and use it, it is possible automatically.

Areas seem to be deducting fine for me.

Because you are taking the zone to the centre of the walls, the zone automatically deducts the area of the walls from that zone.

There is nothing you can do about that except place the zones inside the walls.

The fill you draw to the centre of the walls will not deduct the full fill area (the 4m²), only the area inside the walls because half the wall thickness has already been deducted.

thank you. ^^
However, it is my opinion that the wall should have options.
Most of the work is based on the wall. ^^

The zones give you 2 options (other than manually placing them).

To the centre of the walls - some like to not have 'gaps' in their areas.

Or to the inside of the walls which gives you the actual room size - which I would guess most people would use.

If you have free-standing wall completely inside a zone, you have the option to ignore them.
