Plumbing fixture bug?

Anonymous
Not applicable
All plumbing fixture library parts when placed on floor plan
go gray out and can not be edited any more.
Layer is not locked.
Any ideas what's happening?

Do or did you have the MEP Modeler Add-On installed?
If yes:
This usually happens when MEP Modeler is installed in ArchiCAD. The MEP Modeler changes the subtypes of OBject with possible MEP connections so they will not be Objects, but elements recognized by MEP Tools. Then the file is saved.
If the file is opened in an ArchiCAD copy that does not have MEP Modeler installed, all those objects will be locked.
FYI: They can be selected and unlocked.

Tnx Laszlo!
MEP was installed on other workstation, where file was created,
and than I start editing on my workstation without MEP installed.

Please help – the same problem! I opened old file, which was made with AC16, and all Plumbing Fixtures are locked. How can I unlock these objects without installing MEP Modeler on AC20?
