Surface schedules don't consider GOs

So the new surface schedules can read elements. Great! I've been waiting for that for ages. But the Surface Color (Swatch) reads the original swatch of the element, even if a Graphic Override is set. This looks like an obvious bug that can hopefully be fixed in a hotfix, as i can see ALOT of applications for this.

That is correct.

The graphic overrides are just visual changes, and they can be different for the same element in different views.

You are not actually changing the surface material of an element, you are just visually changing it while the graphic override is active.

You will also find that as the GO affects the entire element, the surface on the other side of the wall would have changed as well, which is probably not what you want to schedule.

Versions 6.5 to 27
i7-10700 @ 2.9Ghz, 32GB ram, GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB), Windows 10
Lenovo Thinkpad - i7-1270P 2.20 GHz, 32GB RAM, Nvidia T550, Windows 11

But the view i save has a Graphic Override option. It could take that into account. For fire plans here we need to color code every fire resistance to a color, for permitting. At the moment i am using 2D Section View and my legend looks like this.

If i could schedule the swatch i could turn those random shapes into a nice looking landscape color bar.
