Template update ongoing project

I remember that during a BIM talk, someone mentioned that it’s possible to update a Template during an ongoing project.
I don’t remember exactly how, but I’m quite sure it’s doable — maybe by linking the template as a module or through a merge process?
Do you remember how that works? I'm trying to figure it out!

A template and a project file are two completely separate entities.

Even linking as a module will not synchronise them.

All you can do is export/import attributes with the Attribute Manager.

Many other settings like properties, favourites, graphic overrides, model view options, etc., can also be exported/imported.

Views can not.

Layouts can be, but be careful as any placed drawings will link to the original file, and you will have to re-link them to vies in the file you are updating.
