Why is the preview of that zone not appearing on the workspace display?

Could you please explain why the preview of that zone is not showing on the workspace screen?

That is the settings for the zone stamp.

When you placed the zone, I think you will find you have used a zone label and not the stamp.

In your Model View Options, the zone stamps are probably turned off.

Your Zone Stamp has additional settings (under the Stamp Text Style), which can be working/drawing scale dependent (Scale Sensitive Display). For example you can have the Hight value hidden in 1:100, but visible in 1:50 scale (The Zone stamp is basically a Library element with it's own settings).

But sometimes you also have to check your Model View Options, as @Barry Kelly mentioned, for Zone Stamp visibility (probably not your problem here, as the Zone Stamp is visible) and possible additional settings - some localized Archicad versions can have additional Zone settings in the Model View Options menu.
