Hello there! I am using Archicad 28, with the standard work environment, and want to use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+D (drag a copy) and this doesn't work.
When i use the commands CRTL+SHIFT it toggles on/of the Arrow tool for Morph selections (black/white arrow).
When i add the +D (to drag a copy) it cant select an object (for example a slab or a wall) because of this reason.
If i use the same command, CTRL+SHIFT with +E (rotate a copy) or +M (mirror a copy) it does work.
Has anyone had the same problem and knows a solution to this?
I would like to hear your opinion!
Kind regards, Julian Fiole.

Hi,
Usually, one would use the shortcut after you select an element that you want to duplicate.
Basically, you select the element(s) first, then Ctrl+shift+d, and it should work.
If you haven't done any changes to the default shortcuts, and it still does not work, I'd make sure I don't have any other keys pressed.

Hi CosminF,
Thank you for your reply.
The shortcut has worked for the last couple of years, but stopped working like 2-3 months ago.
First i select an object, then press the CTRL+SHIFT+D combination to drag a copy.
But when i try to do so, it doesn't work as usual, the (white) Arrow tool pops up and it tries to select the face of Morph.

Shot in the dark but if you were to use the same function from Edit -> Move -> Drag a copy?
Is the same shortcut shown there as well?
You also might want to check this: https://support.graphisoft.com/hc/en-us/articles/26451021165585-My-keyboard-shortcuts-have-stopped-w...
According to that there is a possibility of a 3rd software limiting that shortcut within Archicad.

Yes, it is indeed.
Like what i said before, the shortcuts for ''Rotate a Copy'' and ''Mirror a Copy'' do work, but the ''Drag a Copy'' doesn't...
I have searched through a lot of settings but can't find a wrong setting anywhere.

Is there anyone else that has experienced this problem?
Can it maybe be a Windows problem?
Would like to hear some idea's, thanks in advance!
