Importing/ exporting Ecodesigner materials in AC 16

Hi everyone, I'm testing my brand new Archicad 16 and was wondering: how can I export the product catalogue of my Ecodesigner materials?

I was able to export it as .xml file from Archicad15+ED, but I could not find a way to do the same in version #16.

Thanks!

Enrico

Do you want to use the XML Material catalog in AC16?
I think you can just add it manually to the MaterialCatalog.xml file in the EnergyEvaluation folder.
On my computer it is at:

C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 16 INT\Add-Ons\EnergyEvaluation\INT

Excellent! That's exactly what I needed.

Any chance I can add a custom material library, like I can add custom object libraries and databases?

Thanks again!

I am not absolutely certain, but I suppose that this is the XML file ArchiCAD reads when you click the Material Catalog button in the Fill Types Dialog. So I think there must be one such file.
What I would do is I would create these Material Groups with easily identifiable names. Then I would place them either at the beginning or the end of this XML files. As I see ArchiCAD reads the file contents in sequence so if you put them at the beginning they will be in the beginning in the Material Catalog Dialog.
