BIM Server on a Mac Server Machine

I have been unable to get the BIM server to run on our office Server machine. The server is running Mac 10.5.8 Server software. It does show that the messaging port 61616 is occupied, but selecting an open port does not help. When starting the BIM server it just says "Waiting to start" and then reverts to Stopped. I've been communicating with Graphisoft technical support, but I thought I'd put the question out there for all the AC gurus.

Karl,

We are on OS X Server 10.6.2 and have just installed the latest Security Update and are now having (I think) the same issue - BIM Server won't run for more than 10-20 seconds without shutting down.

If you are updating to 10.6 then I would suggest not running the latest security update if you can avoid it, as that would seem to be the problem - unless your system now works?
