BIMCloud Basic (Archicad 24) Server not Accessible

Hello all.

I´m having problems with BIMCloud Basic for Archicad 24. I have 21/22/23 working fine but when I created the server for 24 I can´t use teamwork.

When I open the BIM Manager it show the server as not accessible.
If I create a folder for a new project on BIM Manager I can see it on the Archicad 24 but does not allow me to share/upload a project to the BIMCloud.

I´m lost here.

Thank you

There is an article about it on Graphisoft Help Centre:

https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/knowledgebase/74012/

Actually highly recommend to search answers there - in most cases Help Centre really helps.

Hi Andre,

Based on your screenshot the port of the Server is suspicious for me. Typically 20000 is a Manager port and not a Server.

Can you please check if any other BIMcloud Basic components runs on this port?

Another idea is that you might configured an external storage as a location of one of the BIMcloud Server folders. BIMcloud Server is not running until it can access all of its folders and files. Take a look on this article too: https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/knowledgebase/130409/

Also, hosting 4 BIMcloud Basic on one computer might cause troubles on resource side. It is also possible that there is not enough room for the BIMcloud Server to start.

If none of my suggestions or Podolsky's suggestion works, I suggest to contact your support with a BIMcloud Support Package (https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/knowledgebase/130724/), marking the installation name of the affected BIMcloud (this case Server-2021-06-29).

Kind regards,
Noémi

Problem solved.

The problem was with the folders location. I change some of the folders location during the server installation.

Thank you.

Hello, I have the same problem...I recently installed Bimcloud Basic for Archicad 25 and it is written that server not accessible. My folders of backup and everything are located in the original bim directory, installed on drive C: ...I activated the Manager but still have that problem. I have enough space for operating this service and I updated and restarted the PC few times. Where is the problem?
