Editing profiles while teamworking

Is there a workaround for this? We are finding that profiles cannot be edited while teamworking in AC11 unless you have "Exclusive Access." Why is this? Has this changed in newer versions? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, this was a limitation in the previous Teamwork solution.
In Teamwork 2 of AC13 you have much more freedom: you can just reserve the Profile Manager Dialog, make your changes, then Release the reservation and send changes to the shared Project File.
Very flexible, no more Exclusive Access requirement.
