How to set up Bim Server

Hello,

I have an issue with TW. I am a total newbie on that area. I would like to set up bim server on local machine, so my coworker could join the same project. I have same build on AC17 and BIm server, I have firewall exceptions turned on, same discovery ports on AC17 and BIM server...

what do I do wrong?

Setting up TW is relatively easy if all users are within the same network and if they can see each other computers (for a network without a server) or that they can connect to a central server. It is more difficult to setup if the connection is remote (over the internet).

You have not indicated the operating system or what the basic problem is.

- Can your friend connect to the TW computer? i.e. open a folder in the computer hosting TW?
- is your friend using the same version of AC?
- is the connection remote or local?
- What type of network do you have?
- Does the TW server have a static address?
