Rather looks like you have two walls in the same position:

Nope. Single wall.

If you don't have shadows on there is no glitch.

Update,

Looks like moving the Sun in the 3D Window setting resets the shadow and the glitch is removed.

The original file still keeps the glitch.

Huh, interesting. So it happens only in the "shadowed" side?

Mh, I've seen similar issues with wonky graphics drivers, but you're on Mac, so that shouldn't be the problem either. Maybe send the file to the support for them to check it? 😕

Not necessarily on the shadowed side.

File sent just in case.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. we have done some background investigation, and the reason why this is happening is that the sun is parallel to these problematic walls. This is the reason why, as mentioned, moving the sun fixes the problem, as it is not directly parallel to it. :

Another solution would be to try switching to the physically based renderer, which uses shadow mapping instead of shadow volumes in this case it doesn't intersect with the shadow.

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
Batu
