I caught the problem.
I'm working in a rotated view.
3D navigator view is not rotated so when I zoom in I lose the connection between the two views ..
If I revert back to a normal (not rotated view) everything is fine.
I think it should be treated as a bug or misfunctionality.

Thanks Barry,
I knew that already ..
the issue is that I don't see the plan (in wireframe it was) as before ... it's just a blank space

Go back to your plan view and zoom out/pan to
the desired area of concern.
Then go back to the 3D Settings.

EDIT
I see by your screen shot that you already did.

Try switching to Perspective and then back to Parallel?
I am not seeing this problem so it is hard to say.

Or the old IT fallback - re-start the machine.

No idea what units you're working with, so might 40k units be too far from your site that it's zoomed out the plan?

Well spotted.
I have marked this post as 'solved'.

You will need to report it to your local distributor if you want it to be acknowledged by Graphisoft.
They may see it here but there is no guarantee.

Misfunctionality I'd say.
The "Navigator Preview" palette matches the 3D preview.
"Navigator Preview" shows how the view (visible screen) is rotated.

That's weird for sure. The Navigator Preview has a Redraw option. I wonder if that affects it.

Otherwise perhaps switching the Work Environment profile may do it?

Cheers,
