Chaning the Sun Settings, but the Rendering Remains the Same

Hiya,
Yesterday I made a PhotoRendering with the Sketch Engine, and it looked pretty nice. Today I discovered that I had North completely wrong, changed the sun settings, and re-rendered. It looked nice, too. BUT WAIT! It looked exactly the same as the previous rendering! In fact, no matter how I change the sun settings, I get the same rendered image from a given camera. I'm stumped, as the sun settings for any given camera reflect my changed sun settings elsewhere. What am I missing?
Thank you...!

Not like this though - I get migraines from this.

You should try Arris some time. That's the last CAD package I used heavily.

It is inexplicable that the SunObject does not reliably update when the sun setting is changed using the Sun Dialog through the window settings or Camera settings.

The most reliable method I have found is to always return to the plan view and "Super Rebuild" the file. Watch for the sun symbol to change orientation.

Super Rebuild = rebuild and regenerate - use the option key in the command equation.

Also, for users who employ view settings - is it possible there is a conflict with making new settings and calling old views?

Thats the way I had been getting the sunobject to update. Now all ArchiCAD does is respond to the camera sun settings, nothing else will produce any kind of change in the sun.

What else is there?

Well, previously I had never moved that sun object thats attatched to the end of the camera. I always hit CTRL SHIFT 3 to bring up perspective settings - More Sun... and then changed the sun in there. As opposed to going to More Sun... in the camera settings dialog and hitting apply after making changes. Now, this may be the same thing but they are behaving differently for me. If I change the sun settings in one, they dont update in the other.

Oh.
That shouldn't happen.

I figured as much, but the odd thing is - its only in one particular file that it is doing that. All of the other projects are just fine. I wonder if something got corrupted...who knows...

Thanks for the help though!
