Fluoro Uplight

I am trying to position a fluoro light so that it shines onto the ceiling from behind a TV cabinet. At the moment I am not able to rotate it or position it in a way so that the beam throws upwards onto the ceiling. Any ideas?

fake it with a light cone.

make the start diameter large.

...that's what I ended up doing.Thought there might be a simpler way...seems to fake it pretty well though...thanks for your help
