Is possible to save and place perfectly orthogonal views +?

Hello,
I need to know if it is possible to place the floor plan and elevations as
perfectly orthogonal (flat) model views with colors? The top view doesn't work for what I need to do. It needs to be flat with the model colors so I can put
it exactly on top of the dimensioned floor plan.

The goal is to have a fully colored & dimensioned combination site and floor plan and fully colored & dimensioned exterior elevations.

The old fashioned way would be to print black or brown line prints and color by hand with markers...Ugh

For Floor Plans
-----
In 3D Window:
• Right click on empty space and select "3D Projection Settings"
• Select "Parallel Projections"
• Choose Top view" and move the camera if needed
• Right Click and select "New 3D Document from 3d…" and edit the settings in the new window
• or use CR to render a top view

For Elevations and Sections

You can use the above procedure or just turn materials on "Model Display Settings" for the S/E

Ok, I get a 3d document that appears to be 2d, contains no color and everything is there and nothing is editable...Ugh
CR?

You need to turn the surfaces for the model on in the 3D Doc Settings.

I'm trying everything and no luck - It's still just black and white lines

Okay, I didn't realize that the 3d view was flat. I thought it was still the top view. Going to place this and see if the dimensions will work on it.

After placing on a layout it looks like it's way too pixelated and there doesn't
appear to be anyway to add dimensions.

It looks like you have gone "Save As…" from your 3D window, which only saves an image of your 3D view, hence the pixellation. In 3D window you need to right click and go to "New 3D Document from 3D", then set it up and save the view like any other view. 3D documents can have dimensions and text added.

S2art,
From the 3d window "top View" I'm right clicking and using the "New 3D Document from 3D" - I give it a name and press create. It says it's generating the 3d document and calculating split polygons then it comes up as a plan view
with the grid display on. there is no color here and the view is 2d only
see screenshot below. If I go to the 3d window it takes me back to the 3d view that this was made from. I don't know of anyother way to save this except to do a save view and place on a layout. I need a high resolution model colored plan that can be dimensioned and placed on a layout.
I've added another screenshot below to show the view I need to work with.
Don't know how the dimensions are going to show, but one problem at a time I guess

This is what I need to place on a layout, but everytime I try to do it it's too pixelated.
