I'm trying to change the color of a Paint material. I go to Options>Element Attributes>Materials and select a material from the pop-down menu. Then I open the surface color swatch, go to HSB sliders. When I change one, one or both of the other two change on their own. And when I click OK and then go back, the values have reverted, not reflecting my changes.
With RGB this weirdness does not happen. I guess I should leave it at that, though it's irritating I can't find an explanation of how H, S, and B interact by googling.
Thank you for the helpful, and quick, tip, Dwight!
This has been a long standing problem with ArchiCAD's color space. HSB and CMYK don't really work. RGB is the only reliable method to set accurate colors.
