License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Show some of your Renderings

I thought it would be a fun idea to show some renderings of homes you've designed in Archicad, kind of like a little portfolio or show and tell.

So I'll start with a few:

alot of time modeling. gives you more realistic results.

all of those images had hundreds of hours in them. just making the model and custom making most of the materials.

but once you start to make all of your materials yourself, you can re-use them. so it gets faster.

to do a 3D section like this i did it with the "cut 3D planes tool"

then used the light works rendering engine like any other render.

use the help menu inside ArchiCAD to find "3D Cutaway" and how to use it

It uses the 3d document feature to produce an exploded axonometric.

Djordje,
Wow! What an impressive body of work! Which software did you use besides archicad? Is the Qatar Airways lounge Doha done with Piranesi?

Thanks, Erika You do collect some stuff after a couple of decades 😉

Not all my design ... Some of it is presentation work only, like the Qatar airways lounge.

Yep, Piranesi. Pre 1995 was done in 3D Studio 2 or 3, the second (sports hall, my design that maybe even got built) in AccuRender ... modeled in AutoCAD 😉 The rest, from the modernist villa onwards, is ArchiCAD, Artlantis and Piranesi.

Nice work, Ed. I take it you didn't get the puffer fish or hula-girl lamps from the Object Depository.
