Sketch rendering?

Hey!

Please tell me how I can rendering in Sketch mode and get the same output as in the sections/elevations view??

What numbers and boxes do I have to fill in at the PhotoRendering Setting?

Instead of rendering a perspective with the Sketch Engine, you would render an elevation or a 3D cutaway to simulate a section.

Sketch Mode only applies to views from the 3D Window and cannot be used for Sections/Elevations. (Though it would be nice)

There IS another way to approximate a sketchy section:

Convert a section into a drawing.

Change the drawing lines into a squiggly line (that you create).

Then you have a jiggly section...

Thanks for all suggestions..

But, I'm not quite shore what to do..

I'm not thinking of doing this i elevations/sections mode,
but in photorendering as in Sketch rendering.

All I want is a 3D, sketch view, of my building.

And, by sketch, I'm thinking about the same look as in stories/sections/elevations.

My stories and elevations/sections are nice, whit simple line and shadows,
and therefor I'm looking for a same "design" on 3D view.

If You meen there is a anotherway of doing it, please tell me like in a stepbystep guide. I've only use ArchiCAD to times 🙂

Now THAT you can do.

In the 3D Window settings, set your engine to "Internal", then set your mode to "Hidden Line" and turn on vectorial 3D hatching. It will look just like your sections/elevations.

You can even copy/paste the linework into an Independent Detail window to add notes to it.

I did one example in the sections/elevations mode, but, how do I make it like a BIRDVIEW? 🙂

A bird view.... like from straight up?

Image > 3D Projection Settings

Make sure it's in Axonometric Mode (not perspective).
Pick "Plan" from the flyout in the upper right.
Set the Azimuth to 270.

Click Ok then open your 3D window.

...or select the "Look to" icon on the 3D navigation palette, and select a surface to look directly at (wall, slab, roof, anything)
