Specifying material map origin

I'm trying to place a plan image on a slab in a 3D model for rendering purposes. I've set the base material image to the exact size of the slab, so i could have the material only occur once over the slab. However, i cannot get the material to orient to the slab correctly, resulting in a seam line thru the center, instead of the material anchoring from one corner. Is there a way in AC9 to move the orientation point of this image to the right spot over the slab? Or perhaps a different method of pasting this image onto the slab. Or do i have to bring this into artlantis to accomplish my goal?

Select the slab in the 3D window and go to Edit>Align 3D Texture...

For complicated materials, the OpenGL window does not always show the texture accurately, in which case you will need to render the image with the Internal Rendering Engine.
