White Model

I like using the White Model option, however, I like to show the glass as very dark and very shiny when I do that. Is there a convenient way to edit the glass when selecting the white model option?

I still could use some help on how to get the white model feature in CineRender to include black shiny glass. Perhaps it can not do that unless I change all the materials to a white model default in ArchiCAD first except the glass an not use the white model feature. ?

We have made up a surface attribute set for doing something very similar.
It's not ideal but it is a very quick solution once it is setup.
Plus it allowed our designers to still use trees with a transparency and grass where they liked.

First up export your standard surfaces through attribute manager, save as.

What we did then was replaced settings from catalog for each surface, except our glass and grass surfaces, with the wall finishes - paint 18 - titanium white.
Then adjusted our glass materials to be the blue reflective that our designers liked.
We then exported that surface set as another attribute file called white set.

Once you have those exported, you can over write the surfaces of each project in attribute manager for the renders and then once you are done,
simply overwrite the surfaces back to your standard set.

As I said, not ideal but it does allow for some cool effects.
That sounds great Kristian,
I will give that a try.

Super easy with ArchiCAD plug-in for Maxwell
