spilled light through solid material

Hello!
Does anyone know why there are spills of light through solid material as shown on the attached photo?
I placed spotlights, directed upwards inside a wooden cabinet with translucent front doors.

Thank you!

Hello tenak333,

Have your CineRender textures been properly configured ?
What are the configurations of the light sources?

make sure you turn on shadow casting. Also increase the samples in your render.

Thank you for your help!

I still haven't managed to do it correctly.
I have shadow casting selected.
Carsten, I am not sure what you mean by 'increasing the samples in my render'?

I attached a few images with light's and materials' properties I have.
The wooden material is the one from the library, I haven't changed it.
So the cabinet is made of wood with opal glass in front.
Do you see anything in the properties that might be causing the light to spill?

Thank you!

I can't see anything wrong in your settings. Try these tow option, images attached. This is what I meant with more samples.
I take it the 3D model is clean, like no gap to the wall ?
If this is not helping you are welcome to save an archive and attach the file here. Then I will have a look.
