use of the lightworks 'floorboard' shader = reflectance bug?

dwight / anybody . . .

i've been trying with very little sucess to use the 'floorboard' lightworks shader. whatever i seem to do it renders with a very high reflectance resulting in an almost all white/glare render.

i've even started with the basic timber materials (which renders ok) and then simply switched the shader to floorboard: still loads of reflectance/glare . . .

has anybody had any luck using 'floorboard'?

cheers

I opened up Teak in the LWA/Architectural/Construction...

and you could do one of several things - the ambient, diffuse and specular seem a little high, say by twice.

especially the specular gives you glare

put a little amplitude into it.

I haven't gone thru this one, yet.
