Until now it is a real large scripting work necessary, if You want to make an editable polygon in GDL - and with this thing - it is not the same workflow as it is used in normal Archicad-tools like line or slab.
Within the Change-Marker - there is a example of an GDL that works in the way i think of.
My suggestion to Graphisoft:
Please - create a complete neu single line command for a polygon that works exactly like the other polygon-related tools in Archicad.
The code could look like this:
epolygon2 Polyvariablename, x0, y0, StartNumberOfSegments
The variable "Polyvariablename" should be a normal array which numbers grows during normal user editing.
One single line should do this! No need for 30 pages of coding!
And for the normal User it should be possible to use all normal Pet-Pal Commands like for slabs.
If Graphisoft implements a function for linking the Points to other Drawing elements like the functionality of the dimension tool - that would feel like christmas!
