DWG import in ArchiCDAD: incorrect text alignment in ArchiCAD

Had the same issue yesterday. Interestingly enough it's only some text that is affected. Some text in the same file also imports just fine. It's weird.

Guys, please report this issue to your respective local resellers, so they can forward it to Graphisoft for fixing.

I have seen this with exported docs as well... text in the authored file needs to be justified with an origin point. The "always readable" option in text placed in archicad is super problematic for dwg and pdf output, as the file reader on the otehr side can choose to recognize or ignore text rotation (IE text at 180º but always readable is sometimes correct, sometimes upside down in the output).
I wonder if the text in the (autocad authored?) file you are importing has a text box/text wrap feature with handles that are way outside the limits of the text?
also, try drag/drop the dwg, rather than copy paste, open, merge, or place x-ref. The drag drop places as a drawing, which is most reliable for retaining pen weights, text, font, etc...
