Mesh with constant thickness

Whenever I model terrain, I dream of an additional feature that would be useful, e.g. for convenient cutting of roads, various surfaces (etc.) in the terrain mesh, so that it would then also be visible in cross-sections (e.g. by using SEO operations). This is a mesh of a given thickness:

By allowing the bottom to be defined similar to the top, this could be extremely powerful in calculating earth volumes and defining grades at different strata and stages throughout the construction process.  For our digital construction age for machine control and quality controls, AR and XR visuals this would be a great add.

Since this Wish is placed on Hold, I believe this can help few people.

There was a question regarding this topic and one user shared his .gdl object which can create a layered mesh with up to 10 layers now.

This feature already exist in the competitor tools

Don't put it on hold just to develop something that no one asked for instead, like AI in AC29. Who asked for that? What's the point. All that AC29 Ai functionality was already available without GS spending their own resources to develop it.
