Bimx or some other 3d model file?

I would like to send my engineer the 3d model so that he can
understand the building better. Not sure which way to go though.
I recently upgraded to AC17 and I think the BimX is included for 1 year with my Archiplus subscription is this what I should use?
I imagine that he will need some kind of viewer and that I will have to save the file in some file format meant for this application, but I have no idea what to do, Thought I would post here first before I go digging around for info. Going to do a google search on BimX now.

Best,

Jonathan

You can use BimX, your engineer will need to download the BimX app and use it to open the BimX file that you send him.

Slighty more complex you can export an IFC file from AC and your engineer can use eithe Tekla BimSight or Solibri Viewer to open the it.

I'm having trouble creating the bimx file.
Have had several bug reports when I try to open the bimx file.
When I tryed to create another one, this error message "warning cannot write output file" came up.
Going to try making one with the library parts turned off.
