Adding Information To Zone Interactive Schedules

Hi,

I am trying to add information to the zone interactive schedule and I can highlight the cell but cannot type any information in the cell? Or does one have to add the information directly in the zone tool for each zone individually and if so where is the best place to add remarks?

In the screenshot it says: item selected in schedule is locked.
Try to unlock it and then it should work, unless there is some other problem.

Thanks for the assistance. I don't seem to be able to see where to unlock the item? Is this somehow done in the the schedule settings or in the zone part itself? Thanks,

I suppose you could just select the Zones in the Floor Plan Window and use the Edit\Locking\Unlock menu command on them.
Or maybe their Layer is locked and you would need to unlock that in the Layer Settings Dialog.

Thanks for the tips however I checked and all the layers are unlocked and I still can't add info to the column. None of the columns seem editable.

Can you show me the Fields panel of the Scheme Settings Dialog for this Schedule?
I am curious which Zone parameters are scheduled here.

It seems unlikely but check to make sure the zones themselves are not locked. Individual elements can be locked independently of the layers. This is under the edit menu and in the right click context menu.

It is also possible that the particular parameters are not editable. They may be locked in the library part script itself.

I assume it is the custom text you are trying to edit. That should work. (The area and such are calculated fields and would be read only.)

Are you in Teamwork? If they are not in your workspace they would be locked.

Hi Matthew I am not in Teamwork. What I am trying to do is provide a printout of the zones in my project to my client with some notes as you correctly assumed. I want a printout of all the zones, rooms sizes, which should happen automatically with remarks about each zone in the customised text column.

I have tried this before without success and had to put all the data in XCell spreadsheets which is time consuming and should be available in ArchiCAD straight from the model. If not the schedules are not very useful for me.
