CIGRAPH AC12 VERSIONS

I have just received my copy of AC12 and was flabbergasted that the Cigraph versions are still a month or so away from release (and will require a dongle). Surely Graphisoft should be keeping these companys in the loop regarding release dates.

Does anyone have a workaround (other than save all objects as GDL) as i have a large job i want to bring thru to AC12 but it has numerous archiforma objects.

Kees, According to their Architerra web site the version for AC 12 came out on Sep 22. Is this not correct?

It was released on Sep 22. Like all there addons were. What makes you say it hasn't been released yet?

Since my dongle arrived this month, I have been using all Cigraph products in AC 12.

Perhaps the AC12 version is not the upgrade they talk about but is the old version compatible with AC12.

Right. You couldn't get your dongle but you could get your software.

Semantics. Since the dongle didn't ship until November (maybe ~some~ select few beat October) the software download was useless until then. That is what is so frustrating about Cigraph. We couldn't even use last years version with AC12 and since I upgrade in the summer, I have been without the tools I paid from since then.

Cigraph tools are a waste of time IMO.

We have three threads:

-- one colleague says the software is not available since he relied on an uncorrected web site posting.

-- others see that the plug-ins have been available for weeks if you bothered to look. Not that it was any good having them without a dongle.

-- and we all hate the dongle. I'm just glad i have a longle dongle.

-- perhaps other angry members might complete the string Kees started with a spelling error: Cigraph>Cigrap>Cicrap.
