Export Surface Model for Finite Element Analysis

Is there any way to export a surface model for FEA?

My goal is to import into ETABS for Finite Element Analysis

I've found Rhino surface model can be exported, but ETABS can't read that format.

I know it reads IFC, but can IFC be exported as a surface model?
